The Minnesota Vikings (8-2) on Thursday announced the following players will be inactive against the New England Patriots (6-4) in Week 12:
Cornerback Akayleb Evans
Cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr.
Outside linebacker Luiji Vilain
Tackle Vederian Lowe
Tackle Christian Darrisaw
Defensive lineman Esezi Otomewo
Defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson
Evans (concussion), Booth (knee) and Darrisaw (concussion) were ruled out Wednesday.
Look back on images from past games between the Vikings and the Patriots.
Evans suffered a concussion in Week 10 at Buffalo and was replaced by Booth, who made his first start last week against Dallas.
That leaves Minnesota with Patrick Peterson, Chandon Sullivan, Duke Shelley and Kris Boyd on the 53-man roster. Peterson will be at one starting outside corner spot. Sullivan has played as the nickel corner. Shelley came up with an important pass breakup in limited action at Buffalo. Boyd has been a force on special teams but has only played two defensive snaps this season.
Minnesota also announced Thursday it had elevated cornerback Tay Gowan and linebacker William Kwenkeu from its practice squad.
Tomlinson was ruled out again Friday because of a calf injury he suffered in Week 8 against Arizona. It is just the fifth game he's ever missed during his six seasons.
Darrisaw suffered his second concussion in as many weeks last Sunday. He was replaced in each game by Blake Brandel.
Vilain is inactive for the fifth game in a row after making his NFL debut in Miami in Week 6.
Lowe and Otomewo are inactive for a 11th consecutive game.
Guard/center Chris Reed is active for the first time since joining Minnesota this offseason.
