Oliver will miss the second consecutive Vikings game because of an ankle injury suffered at Tennessee in Week 11. Ward is recovering from an elbow injury suffered last week.
Rypien is again Minnesota's emergency quarterback and is eligible to play if the Vikings suffer injuries to starter Sam Darnold and backup Nick Mullens.
Rookie tackle Walter Rouse is inactive for the first time. He will add depth behind starters Cam Robinson and Brian O'Neill, as well as veteran backup David Quessenberry. Robinson was on the injury report this week because of a foot injury.
