The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 8 game at the Los Angeles Rams:
Quarterback Brett Rypien (third quarterback)
Cornerback Akayleb Evans
Cornerback Dwight McGlothern
Running back Myles Gaskin
Defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez
Linebacker Blake Cashman
Tackle Walter Rouse
The list of players is the same as Minnesota's inactives for Week 7.

Rypien is Minnesota's emergency quarterback and is eligible to play if the Vikings suffer injuries to starter Sam Darnold and backup Nick Mullens.
At running back, the Vikings will have Aaron Jones, Sr., Ty Chandler and Cam Akers available.
McGlothern, Rodriguez and Rouse are inactive for the seventh consecutive game.
Evans (hip) and Cashman (toe) are out for the second consecutive game.
