MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions:
Quarterback Brett Rypien (third quarterback)
Cornerback Akayleb Evans
Cornerback Dwight McGlothern
Running back Myles Gaskin
Defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez
Linebacker Blake Cashman
Tackle Walter Rouse

Rypien is Minnesota's emergency quarterback and is eligible to play if the Vikings suffer injuries to starter Sam Darnold and backup Nick Mullens.
At running back, the Vikings will have Aaron Jones, Sr., Ty Chandler and Cam Akers available.
McGlothern, Rodriguez and Rouse are inactive for the sixth consecutive game.
Evans (hip) and Cashman (toe) were ruled out Friday.
The Vikings signed tight end Robert Tonyan from their practice squad and waived receiver Trishton Jackson on Saturday.
