MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 16 home game against the Detroit Lions:
Safety Lewis Cine
Cornerback Byron Murphy, Jr.
Quarterback Joshua Dobbs (emergency QB)
Tight end Nick Muse
Guard Chris Reed
Tackle Brian O'Neill
Receiver Jalen Nailor
Murphy dealt with a knee injury in last week's game at Cincinnati.
O'Neill is out for a second consecutive week because of an ankle injury he suffered at Las Vegas in Week 14.
Quarterback Nick Mullens is starting and being backed up by rookie Jaren Hall for the second consecutive week. Dobbs is only eligible to play if Mullens and Hall suffer injuries.
