MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 5 home game against the Kansas City Chiefs:
Safety Lewis Cine
Quarterback Nick Mullens
Tight end Nick Muse
Outside linebacker Andre Carter II
Tackle Hakeem Adeniji
Defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga
Cine has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and Mullens is dealing with a back injury.
Adeniji signed from the practice squad last week.
The list means outside linebacker Marcus Davenport, who has been working through an ankle injury, is active for the third time this season. Davenport made a mark in Week 4 at Carolina.
Vikings starting center Garrett Bradbury (back) is active for the first time since he was injured early in Week 1 against Tampa Bay.
Rookie Jaren Hall will be Minnesota's backup QB behind Kirk Cousins.
