COLLEGE - VANDERBILT

• Played four seasons at Vanderbilt (2014-17) and served as an offensive co-captain at Vanderbilt as a senior in 2017.
• In 39 games played in his career (2014-17), hauled in 136 receptions for 1,869 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
• Finished as the team's leading receiver as a senior in 2017 with a career-high 729 yards on 50 receptions. Also tallied a single-season career-best five receiving touchdowns.
• Notched a school-record 240 receiving yards against Austin Peay as a sophomore in 2015.

PREP - DANVILLE (ILL.)

• Four-year varsity letterwinner for Class 6A school and two-time team captain.
• Three-year starter on offense and defense.
• Started at QB as a junior and senior, accounting for 4,790 yards and 64 total TDs on offense.
• As a three-year DB starter, amassed 146 tackles and six interceptions.
• Two-time honorable mention All-State and All-Area recipient who played in the postseason Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
• Three-year letterwinner as a guard in basketball and sprinter/jumper in track & field.

OFF THE FIELD

• Son of Tedrone Sherfield.
• Stepdad, DaJuan Gouard, is the Assistant Athletic Director/Head Men's Basketball Coach at Danville Area Community College.
• Has a younger brother, Tomas.
• Served as a mentor at a local Boys & Girls Club in high school and interned at the nearby Martha O'Bryan Center, a Christian-based program that "empowers children, youth and adults in poverty to transform their lives through work, education, employment and fellowship.
• His wife, Marcella, played volleyball at Lipscomb. Together, they have one son, TJ, who was born in January of 2023.
