EAGAN, Minn. – Sam Darnold ticked off the list of challenges awaiting the Vikings offense in Week 4.
The Vikings quarterback and NVP of Week 3 cited the coaching, the scheme and the players in Green Bay's defense that has pressured opponents and nabbed seven interceptions so far in 2024.
"The scheme is really good. They do a lot of things to try to hide coverage," Darnold said. "Some of the players do a really good job of disguising, as well, whether it's coverages or different pressures."
He is looking forward to the challenge and trying to help Minnesota improve to 4-0 and remain atop the NFC North.
In addition to being Darnold's first Border Battle, the game will also provide his first trip to Lambeau Field. He, other first-timers like Stephon Gilmore and long-timers will take the stairs down from the Vikings locker room to a hallway that narrows after each turn before opening to the seating bowl.
"I am excited to feel the atmosphere," Darnold said. "There's so much football history packed into that stadium."
