Biography
Zavier Scott entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts following the 2023 NFL Draft and spent his rookie season on the team's practice squad. He began his collegiate tenure at UConn, seeing action in 14 games and hauling in 33 receptions for 228 yards and a touchdown. He also added 210 yards on the ground on 34 carries in his three seasons with the Huskies (2017-19). Scott played the remainder of his career at Maine (2021-22), lining up at both wide receiver and running back. In 2022, Scott led the Black Bears in both receptions (42) and receiving yards (434), both which marked career highs. He also averaged a league-high 9.3 yards per carry, recording 371 rushing yards on 39 attempts, and his four rushing touchdowns were the second most on the team.
