Biography
Tavierre Thomas (TAV-ee-air) joins the Vikings for his eighth NFL season in 2025, previously spending time with the Cleveland Browns (2018-20), Houston Texans (2021-23) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2024). He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals following the 2018 NFL Draft. After being waived by the Cardinals following the preseason, Thomas signed with the Browns in September of 2018. In his first seven NFL seasons, Thomas recorded 189 tackles, including six for loss, 1.0 sack, two quarterback hits and two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown in 98 games (22 starts). He has also posted 50 tackles on special teams and blocked two field goals.
