Rick Leonard

Leonard signs to the practice squad after being released from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on Dec. 7. Leonard was originally a fourth-round draft pick (No. 127 overall) by the New Orleans Saints in the 2018 NFL Draft, and has spent time on the practice squads of the Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Washington Football Team since entering the league. The Florida State product started his college career as a defensive end before transitioning to offensive tackle his junior season. The Middletown, Maryland, native blocked for Vikings RB Dalvin Cook as a Seminole, allowing him to rush for 225 yards and four touchdowns at Syracuse in 2016, and helped the program average 202.3 rushing yards per game and 264.1 passing yards per game on the year.
