Biography

Orchard, a seven-year veteran, has played in 46 career games with all 13 of his starts coming with the Cleveland Browns, who drafted him in the second round out of Utah in 2015. Eleven of his 13 starts came during his rookie season, where he posted a career-best 3.0 sacks, four tackles for loss and 36 total tackles. Following a three-year stint with the Browns, Orchard spent the 2018 season with the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, appearing in four games. Orchard played eight games with the Washington Football Team in 2019-20, transitioning from the practice squad to the active roster for the majority of last season. After his time with Washington, Orchard was acquired via waivers by the Texans and signed a futures contract with the Titans in 2021 before being cut in May. Orchard had one of the best college seasons in recent memory, posting 18.5 sacks and 21.0 tackles for loss in 2014, which resulted in being named to 10 All-America teams and earning the Ted Hendricks Award, an honor given to the best defensive end in the country. Notable Ted Hendricks Award winners include Chase Young, Bradley Chubb and Jadeveon Clowney.
