Biography

Jordan Mason, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers following the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech, joins the Vikings for his fourth NFL season in 2025. In three seasons in San Francisco, Mason appeared in 45 games (six starts), recording 1,253 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 236 rushing attempts. He led the 49ers rushing attack with a career-high 789 yards in 2024, while ranking sixth in the NFL in yards after contact per rush (3.62) according to TruMedia, and seventh in yards per rush (5.2). Among players with at least 150 rushing attempts this past season, Mason led the league with a missed tackles forced percentage of 37.3, according to Next Gen Stats. A native of Gallatin, Tenn., Mason played five seasons (2017-21) at Georgia Tech, concluding his career ranked 11th in rushing yards in program history (2,349) and 15th in rushing attempts (449).
