Biography
Calvin Munson originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants following the 2017 NFL Draft out of San Diego State. In addition to playing his rookie season with the Giants, Munson spent time with both the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots prior to coming to Minnesota. Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores coached Munson in New England during the 2018 season and in Miami during the 2019-21 seasons. A native of St. Charles, Mo., Munson has appeared in 51 games (seven starts) in his career, recording 89 tackles, including six for loss, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble.
