EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings released Friday's injury report as the team gets set to take on the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Linebacker Eric Kendricks (hamstring), fullback C.J. Ham (elbow), punt return ace Marcus Sherels (foot) and receiver Chad Beebe (hamstring) are out.
Cornerback Xavier Rhodes (groin) and guard Tom Compton (shoulder) are listed as questionable.
Kendricks, Ham and Sherels did not participate in practice this week.
Linebacker Eric Wilson will start on Sunday after filling in at middle linebacker in Kendricks' absence last week. Wilson had nine combined tackles and a sack in the win over the Detroit Lions in Week 16.
"Yeah and he played a lot in Chicago too when Anthony Barr didn't play the first time," Head Coach Mike Zimmer said. "Eric (Wilson) is a good football player and we expect him to do a good job."
Beebe and Compton were both first added to the injury report on Thursday.
Beebe did not participate in Thursdays practice and Compton was listed as a limited participant.
Linebacker Anthony Barr (shoulder) and tight end David Morgan (knee) have been full participants in practice all week and both players are expected to play.
Zimmer is happy to have both players active on Sunday.
"Barr's played outstanding this year," Zimmer said. "He's played very, very well. He's a really an extremely bright kid. Morgan adds a little bit of toughness to the offensive unit, so that's always a good thing."
Defensive tackle Linval Joseph (knee) and guard Mike Remmers (low back) each did not participate in Wednesday's practice, but both players returned as limited participants in practice on Thursday. Both players are expected to play.
The Chicago Bears have released their team injury report on Friday as well.
Safety DeAndre Houston-Carson (illness) was first added to the injury report after Thursday's practice in which he did not participate. Houston-Carlson was back at practice on Friday as a full participant and is expected to play.
Defensive back Eddie Jackson (ankle), wide receiver Allen Robinson II (ribs) and linebacker Aaron Lynch (elbow) did not participate in practice this week.
All three players are listed as doubtful for Sunday.
Defensive tackle Bilal Nichols (knee) was a limited participant in practice this week and is listed as questionable.
