EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is still willing to move around the draft board.
A night after staying put and selecting Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson with the 24th overall pick of 2025, Adofo-Mensah worked out a deal to move down in the third round on Friday.
Minnesota acquired the 102nd and 142nd overall picks by sending No. 97 and No. 187 to the Houston Texans.
The decision occurs in a year where Minnesota entered the draft with four selections and is aiming to maximize the impact of each pick to go along with an ample haul in free agency.
Jackson enjoyed his first day on the job Friday.
