In a list compiled by NFL.com fantasy experts, a familiar face headlines the list of top 25 fantasy players for the 2014 season. Following a tough 2013 season where Adrian Peterson still rushed for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns, the 2012 MVP won't be catching anyone off guard with retooled offense guided by new Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner:
Even in injury shortened seasons (like last year), Peterson has never scored fewer than 10 touchdowns. He's the most consistent player in fantasy football, which is why he's No. 1 year after year. Add into the mix that he should see more work in the passing game under new offensive coordinator Norv Turner, and there's little doubt that Peterson is the top fantasy option in 2014.
The top fantasy option won't be seeing any playing time during the next two preseason games so you can guarantee AD will be chomping at the bit come Week One in St. Louis where he rattled off 212 rushing yards the last time he visited the Edward Jones Dome.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced that former Vikings center Mick Tingelhoff was selected as the senior nominee and is an automatic finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2015. Tingelhoff now needs an 80% positive vote at the annual selection meeting, which will be held the day before Super Bowl 49.

While not a guarantee, it is likely Tingelhoff will be elected to the Hall of Fame when voters convene the day before the Super Bowl to choose the 2015 class for enshrinement in Canton, Ohio.
Senior nominees generally get elected.
For Tingelhoff, it is about time.
Tingelhoff came to the Vikings as a rookie free agent in 1962 and stepped into the starting lineup by the team's second preseason game. He didn't turn over the job until his retirement after the 1978 season, never missing a game over a 17-season span that included an incredible 240 consecutive regular season starts.
