Former Vikings superstar receiver Randy Moss made good on his longstanding vow to attend the high school graduation of Kassi Spier and hand the Pelican Rapids senior her diploma Friday.
Multiple outlets reported on the relationship that formed between Moss and Spier during training camp at Mankato before his blockbuster 1998 rookie season. The relationship continued, with Moss visiting Spier at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 2000 after she was diagnosed with leukemia.
According to the ***Fargo Forum***, Spier lost her father in a car accident in 2004, and she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2013, but impressively persevered to celebrate the achievement.
Moss also helped out former Vikings teammate Tyrone Carter over the weekend by signing autographs at Ridgedale Mall to raise money to provide assistance for players to attend Carter's **football camp**. Jim Souhan of the Star Tribune wrote about the **reception** Moss received from fans.
