EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings tight end Irv Smith, Jr., has been ruled out for Monday's Vikings game against the Bears in Chicago.
Vikings rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler, who suffered a concussion in Week 8 and missed Week 9, is listed as questionable.
Neither Adam Thielen nor Ifeadi Odenigbo, who are both listed this week with shoulder injuries, were given a designation for the game.
Both are expected to be available. Fullback C.J. Ham (shoulder/not injury related) also did not receive a designation for the game.
The Vikings on Saturday were able to activate long snapper Austin Cutting from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer laughed when asked if he was relieved to see Cutting back on the field.
"Yeah, it was much better," Zimmer said. "Our backup did a nice job during the week, but it was nice to have [Cutting] back."
Zimmer disclosed that Eric Kendricks is now the backup for Cutting.
"He's a pretty good football player," Zimmer said of the All-Pro and Pro Bowl linebacker.

Vikings DE Jordan Brailford (Personal), CB Cameron Dantzler (Concussion) and G Dru Samia (Illness) are all downgraded to OUT and will not travel with the team for Monday's Week 10 game at Chicago. Additionally, Vikings assistant offensive line coach Phil Rauscher will also not travel to Chicago.
