The Minnesota Vikings are heading back to the NFC Playoffs.
There's still plenty to play for during the remainder of the 2024 season, but Minnesota will have a seat at the table, regardless of what happens in its final four games.
The Vikings (11-2) are preparing to host the Chicago Bears (4-9) on Monday Night Football as Week 15 winds down, but the Packers 30-13 win over the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football guaranteed a postseason berth for the Vikings.

It was one of three playoff-clinching scenarios for the Vikings this weekend (49ers win; or Packers win; or Vikings win). The Rams defeated the 49ers on Thursday Night Football to open Week 15.
Minnesota will be making the postseason for the 32nd time in 64 seasons. The Vikings are 21-31 all-time in playoff games.
This is the second time in three seasons under Head Coach Kevin O'Connell for Minnesota to make the playoffs. In 2022, the Vikings won the NFC North with a 13-4 record but were the No. 3 seed after losing a tiebreaker to the Niners (13-4). The Eagles secured the NFC's top seed with a 14-3 mark and advanced to Super Bowl LVII, and the Vikings were upset by the Giants during the Super Wild Card Round.
There's quite a bit of competition for the No. 1 seed this season, with the Lions (12-2) and Eagles (12-2) clinching playoff berths in Week 14.
Detroit entered Week 15 in the driver's seat for the No. 1 seed thanks to an 11-game winning streak that included a 31-29 victory at U.S. Bank Stadium on Oct. 20. The Lions fell 48-42 at home against the Bills (11-3) on Sunday but still hold tiebreakers on the Eagles and Vikings if those three teams finish with the same record.
Philadelphia is in strong position to win the NFC East, owning a three-game lead over Washington (9-5) with three games to play. The Eagles and Commanders face each other next week, and a win or tie will secure the NFC East for Philadelphia.

If the Vikings win out, they will secure the NFC North and have a shot at the No. 1 seed, depending on what happens with Philadelphia down the stretch.
The NFC North is the only division with three teams with 10-plus victories.
