Sean Gustus returns to the Vikings in 2024 serving as a national scout for his eighth season in Minnesota, after spending the previous five seasons as a college scout/area, where he worked in the Southeast region of the country.
Gustus is an experienced scout who comes to the Vikings from the Los Angeles Rams where he scouted the same region. Prior to his five years with the Rams, Gustus worked on the scouting staff of the Philadelphia Eagles for eight seasons. Gustus got his first experience in scouting with the New England Patriots in 2002 and 2003 as a college scouting assistant. He worked as a quality control assistant with the Patriots both seasons, assisting the offense and special teams during his tenure.
A two-year starter at quarterback for Richmond, Gustus earned his degree in health and sports science from the school. He and wife, Sherri, have four children- Trinity, Lanez, Cheyenne and Savannah, and reside in Huntingtown, Md.
