Emily Badis begins her fourth season with the Vikings in 2024 and first as senior manager of football administration. In this role, she prepares player contracts and coordinates with agents for signatures, supports the executive vice president of football operations in player contract negotiations and team compliance of CBA and league rules, tracks player payroll and offseason program and training camp per diem and manages payment and reporting of paid player appearances.
Prior to her role with the Vikings, Badis worked as a salary cap and contracts analyst with the Atlanta Falcons from 2018-21, where she analyzed player and contract data to set markets for current and upcoming contract negotiations, created reports to assist in self-sufficiency for contracts and coaching departments, created ad-hoc reports for contract negotiations and free agency and analyzed CFA spending as well as provided recommendations to align with league projections.
Badis got her start in the NFL as a seasonal football systems assistant with the Falcons in 2017. In this role, she used SQL to perform quality control queries on NCAA and NFL data, created reports for pro scouts in preparation for upcoming games, provided statistical analysis projects for contract negotiations and created and updated reports on players, teams and weekly opponents for the general manager and assistant general manager.
The Kennett Square, Pa., native received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mary Washington in 2015 and her Master of Science in Applied Statistics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2017. She currently resides in the Twin Cities.
