Washington, who spent the past seven seasons in the San Francisco 49ers' football research and development department, brings nine total seasons of NFL experience to the Vikings front office. In his previous role as manager of football research and development for the 49ers, Washington managed and oversaw the department's efforts in optimization and process improvement by developing predictive and statistical analysis for player evaluation, acquisition and strategy and conducted research on trends and strategies to assist in improving the efficiency of football decisions.

Prior to his role as manager of football research and development, he served as the 49ers analyst for football research and development from 2015-20. He got his start in the NFL as a game charter intern for the Cleveland Browns from 2013-15, where he assisted the scouting and personnel department in gathering information, charted non-box score play information by breaking down game film and performed weekly data entry.

Washington received his bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Central Arkansas and his master's of business administration with an emphasis in finance and analytics from the University of Missouri.
