Being a Minnesota native Mike grew up, hunting, fishing, camping and just being outdoors. As he grew older he developed a mechanical interest and started taking things apart which led to a career as an engineering technician working for Douglas Corporation in Minneapolis. His love of football and the Vikings has never been in question but after attending many Vikings games he decided he needed a more unique way to show off his Vikings spirit. He had seen helmets before but wanted one personally made for him, and the only way to do that was to build it himself. After much trial and plenty of error, my first Vikings helmet was created.
