Leslie Barlow is a practicing artist living and working in Minneapolis, MN. Primarily an oil painter, Barlow's current work uses the figure and narrative elements to talk about issues related to multiculturalism and identity. Barlow attended the University of Wisconsin- Stout where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and minor in Business Administration, with Honors. Barlow graduated from the Master of Fine Arts program at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the spring of 2016. Barlow has exhibited her work nationally and has received numerous awards for her paintings. Most recently she received an Honorable Mention in the Minnesota State Fair Juried Exhibition in 2013.
