A jam-packed Wobcast reviewing what's happened since the Vikings win in Carolina and previewing Monday night's game against the New York Giants was posted on Thursday. Here's a quick breakdown of what you'll hear from Wobby and producer Nate Vaughn.
Weekly Recap/Talking Points
Another injury to a starter popped up during the Carolina game, but the Vikings still found a way to get the job done against the defending NFC champion Panthers. It was a good team win, as each of this season's wins have been, but there's no question the defense helped set the tone. They kept the Panthers offense scoreless for the final 50 minutes of the game. An impressive string of defensive performances as well a good start by WR Stefon Diggs and a sharp start by the special teams phases has the accolades rolling in for the Vikings.
Which defense is better – the Vikings or Broncos? The Dave Dameshek Football Program debates, and Wobby chimes in with his thoughts on comments from Maurice Jones-Drew and Ike Taylor.
Also, the Monday Night Football stage is glamorous and glitzy. You should hear the roster of big-time names who will be in town to help broadcast the game. There is a flip side to playing on the grand stage of MNF, though.
