We learned earlier in the week that the Vikings aren't limiting their search of WRs to only the big-bodied, wide-wingspan variety. While the Vikings don't have a WR who stands at over 6-2, the coaching and personnel staffs aren't making any particular height a requirement in their quest to put more talented pass catchers around QB Teddy Bridgewater.
"We've talked about that a lot, about speed versus size and size versus speed," Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer said on Thursday. "I really think it comes down to the player. There's big guys that don't get off of bump-and run very good— we see a lot of bump and run. There's smaller guys that have big catch radiuses. I think we're just looking for the most dynamic guy."
So who might that player be? It's tough to know right now, but Saturday's action at the Combine will be the next step to determining that because the WRs will be among the players who conduct their on-field workouts.
