The Vikings come off of the bye week and host the Kansas City Chiefs in their Week 6 matchup on Sunday. Minnesota returns home this weekend for the first time since Week 3. The Vikings are (2-0) at TCF Bank Stadium this season. The Chiefs starting half back Jamaal Charles is out for the remainder of the year, after tearing his ACL in his right knee last week against the Chicago Bears. We scoped the web to see what experts and analysts are predicting for the outcome of the Vikings' upcoming matchup against the Chiefs.
The Chiefs head to Minnesota with runner Jamaal Charles, their offensive key, out for the season with a torn ACL. That's a tough blow to overcome. Minnesota still has Adrian Peterson, and he will have success running it. But this one will be about Teddy Bridgewater getting the passing game going.

The Chiefs are quickly falling apart, and the Vikings are establishing themselves as an NFC wild card contender. The Vikings should win this one handily.

The Chiefs will need a lot more than 65 Toss Power Trap to pull of a win at Minnesota, especially with Jamaal Charles* *done for the year. Meanwhile, Brad Childress returns to Minnesota as a member of the Kansas City staff. (It's safe to say no one will be picking him up at the airport.)

It hasn't been a good year for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team's pass defense has been bad. The offensive line has been worse. Last week the Chiefs blew a double-digit lead at home to the Chicago Bears.
And that's only the beginning.
The loss to Chicago also brought with it a season-killing injury. As ESPN reported, an MRI confirmed that the knee injury suffered by tailback Jamaal Charles is indeed a torn ACL.
Reid tried to put a positive spin on the disastrous blow:
I talked to Jamaal yesterday, and he was obviously down, but he is positive about coming back, getting himself back. That's where his energy will be directed -- getting through the surgery and getting back to where he can play.
He's an amazing guy that way. He's one of those rare athletes that you have an opportunity to coach. They're genetically and mentally strong, and they can do things most people can't do when it comes to their profession.'
There's another way you can look at it too.
The Chiefs' season was already dead. Charles just tapped the final nail into the coffin.
