EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced a trade that will send tackle Vederian Lowe to the Patriots for a 2024 sixth-round draft pick.
The deal is pending Lowe passing a physical.
Lowe joined the Vikings in 2022 as a sixth-round pick out of Illinois.
He appeared in four regular-season games, playing 33 snaps on offense and 20 on special teams. Lowe also played four special teams snaps in Minnesota's playoff contest.
This preseason, he started at left tackle in Seattle and played all 66 offensive snaps against the Seahawks. Lowe followed that at the same spot and played all 63 offensive snaps against Tennessee.
On Saturday, the Vikings started Lowe at right tackle and had him play 11 offensive snaps before subbing him out.
Teams must reduce their rosters to 53 players by 3 p.m. (CT) Tuesday. Any waived players can be claimed by Wednesday when teams also can sign up to 16 players for their practice squads.
