Vikings Sign WR Michael Floyd

Eden Prairie, MN (May 10, 2017) – The Minnesota Vikings have signed WR Michael Floyd and waived T Nick Fett.**

Floyd joins the Vikings having spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Cardinals and Patriots. The St. Paul, Minnesota, native has 246 receptions for 3,781 yards and 24 TDs in 78 games (47 starts – 46 with the Cardinals and 1 with the Patriots) since entering the league in 2012. Floyd, who was the 13th overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, attended Cretin Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, where he was named the Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year on two occasions. The Notre Dame product joins two former Irish teammates in Minnesota – TE Kyle Rudolph and S Harrison Smith.
