EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings on Thursday announced the signing of rookie defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.
A seventh-round pick (220th overall) out of Northwestern, Odenigbo is the second member of the Vikings 11-player 2017 draft class to sign with the team. He signed hours after Rodney Adams **became the first*** *to put pen to paper.
Odenigbo finished his college career ranked second in school history with 23.5 sacks and was chosen First-Team All-Big Ten by conference coaches and Second-Team All-Big Ten in his senior season. Odenigbo led the Big Ten with 10 sacks in 2016, racking up 4.0 in one game against Iowa and 2.0 against Michigan State.
