The Vikings announced today that the club has signed rookie free agent DT Chrishon Rose.
Rose joins the Vikings as a rookie free agent for the 2015 season. Rose played in 13 games as a senior at East Carolina during the 2014 campaign, posting 41 total tackles including 14 solo stops. The four-year letter winner played in 48 total games for the Pirates and was a vital member of a defensive unit that has held 18 opponents to 100 or less rushing yards in his four seasons at ECU. Rose received honorable mention All-Conference USA recognition following the 2013 when he logged 31 tackles and 2.5 sacks. The Alexandria, Va., native earned a bachelor's degree in business management and in addition to football is also a musician.
