EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Thursday announced that eight of the 12 players drafted by Minnesota less than a week ago have signed their rookie contracts.
The following draft picks signed when they arrived at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center for this weekend's rookie minicamp:

RB Alexander Mattison, Boise State | Third Round, 102nd overall
G Dru Samia, Oklahoma | Fourth Round, 114th overall
LB Cameron Smith, Southern California | Fifth Round, 162nd overall
S Marcus Epps, Wyoming | Sixth Round, 191st overall
T Olisaemeka Udoh, Elon | Sixth Round, 193rd overall
WR Dillon Mitchell, Oregon | Seventh Round, 239th overall
WR Olabisi Johnson, Colorado State | Seventh Round, 247th overall
Vikings rookies will participate in three days of practices and meetings with other players who have been invited to the team's headquarters on a tryout basis.
Pro Bowl receiver Adam Thielen (in 2013) and Chad Beebe (last year) are among players who signed with the Vikings after they participated in minicamps on a tryout basis.
