EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings on Monday announced the signing of eight players to reserve/future contracts.
All eight players spent parts or all of the 2021 season on Minnesota's practice squad.
The following players signed:
LB Tuf Borland
S Myles Dorn
WR Trishton Jackson
WR Myron Mitchell
CB Parry Nickerson
T Timon Parris
RB A.J. Rose, Jr.
DT T.J. Smith
Borland (four snaps) and Dorn (17) played on special teams in Sunday's season finale. Nickerson participated in 17 defensive snaps and six on special teams against the Bears.
Borland, an undrafted rookie out of Ohio State, also helped on special teams against Pittsburgh in his NFL debut.
Dorn, who missed all of his rookie 2020 season due to injury, appeared in eight games this season on special teams.
Nickerson playing in four games, including exclusively on special teams in Week 3-5, bringing his career total to 25 games for the Jets, Jaguars, Packers and Vikings. Mitchell played on one snap at Chicago. Smith played 20 defensive snaps and one on special teams at San Francisco.
