The Vikings on Thursday announced plans to make more general admission tickets available to fans for remaining sessions of Verizon Vikings Training Camp.
The team initially limited the maximum number of tickets per day to 5,000 in an effort to maximize the experience for fans.
After the first week of camp at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, officials have determined more complimentary tickets can be offered for the first year of camp at the new facility. Because most tickets were free, team officials anticipated some no-shows, and the organization is responding.
Officials believe the amount of space at TCO Performance Center, in addition to the activities on the field at TCO Stadium and an adjacent plaza, will be able to accommodate more fans.
Traffic-flow and parking operations have run smoothly.
A four-ticket limit per transaction will continue to be in place. The two-day limit per person has been removed.
Fans can reserve their tickets and parking passes at **Vikings.com/trainingcamp**.
