Eden Prairie, MN (March 9, 2016) – On Wednesday the Vikings announced that the club has signed OL Mike Harris.
Harris re-signs with the Vikings after starting all 16 games at RG during the 2015 campaign. The UCLA product helped pave the way for RB Adrian Peterson to rush for 1,485 yards en route to his 3rd-career rushing title. Harris played in 12 games for the Vikings during the 2014 season after being claimed off waivers from San Diego on 8/31/14. The Duarte, Calif., native started the final 5 games of the 2014 season for the Vikings at RT.
From 2012-13, Harris played for the San Diego Chargers, starting 12-of-20 games. Harris entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2012 under Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner who then served as the Chargers head coach. In his career, Harris has started 33-of-48 games played.
