EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday announced that safety Andrew Sendejo has been placed on injured reserve and the signing of receiver Isaac Fruechte to the 53-man roster.
Sendejo started 14 games in his sixth NFL season. He recorded 72 tackles (coaches' tally), four pass breakups and intercepted two passes. Sendejo also contributed on special teams, recording six tackles.
Fruechte, a Caledonia native and former Golden Gopher, spent 2015 on the Vikings practice squad after joining the team as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2016 offseason with the Vikings and rejoined Minnesota's practice squad in September after a brief stint on the Lions practice squad.
