Kaare Vedvik (6-3, 210), pronounced CORE-ee VED-vick, joins the Vikings via trade with the Baltimore Ravens for an undisclosed draft selection. Vedvik spent the 2018 season on the Ravens Non-Football Injury (NFI) list after joining the team as a rookie free agent on May 4, 2018. Vedvik appeared in 38 career games at Marshall, seeing action as both a kicker and punter while earning first-team All-Conference USA as a senior in 2017. Born in Stavanger, Norway, Vedvik attended high school in McPherson, Kansas as an exchange student for his junior year before returning to Norway for his senior year.
