The first road game of the 2018 season is upon us, and Vikings Instagram Group is back for another season.
If you aren't familiar with it, Vikings Instagram Group was started two years ago to showcase all the different cities that the team visits throughout the season. The goal is to highlight the unique aspects of each city through the use of photography.
Vikings fans often travel well to each destination, and we want to show them the best local spots of each city. This season, we asked V.I.G. representatives to use two cleats in their photos, one for the Vikings and one for the respective opponent.
The Vikings first road matchup of the season takes us to a familiar place – Green Bay, Wisconsin. A division rival located approximately 300 miles from the Twin Cities, Green Bay sits on Lake Michigan on the eastern side of the state.
Tempest Coffee Collective is a small, locally owned coffee and pastry shop located in downtown Appleton, just south of Green Bay. Tempest Coffee Collective's Instagram page is a collection of its specialty drinks, pastries and local scenery. We caught up with Stephan Witchell, the owner of Tempest Coffee Collective and this week's V.I.G. contributor, ahead of the trip to Green Bay.

I tried to capture areas that attract a variety of activity. Included are popular places to see a band play, farmer's markets, coffee shops, tap houses, living, etc. I wanted to play with perspective and lighting.
What was your favorite part about contributing to the Vikings Instagram group?
Showing off the area! I am appreciative for the opportunity to promote Wisconsin through the Vikings Instagram group.
Kickoff between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers is set for noon (CT) on Sunday, Sept. 16.
