3:05 PM - That will do it!

The Vikings beat the Chargers 23-10 in the first-ever game at U.S. Bak Stadium. The Vikings are now 3-0 in the preseason.

3:01 PM -Another interception for Mackensie Alexander.

The Clemson corner shared another day of interceptions with his teammate Jayron Kearse when he picked off the Chargers in the endzone. The Vikings take over at the 20-yard line.

2:41 PM - The Vikings drive inside the 10-yard line but settle for 23-yard field goal from Blair Walsh, who has connected on all three field goal tries today. Minnesota leads 23-10 midway through the fourth quarter.

2:24 PM - Stave is sacked and fumbles in the red zone as the Chargers gain possession. San Diego takes over on its own 16-yard line.

The Vikings lead 20-10 at the end of the third quarter.

2:15 PM - Toby Johnson and Audie Cole team up to stuff the Chargers on a run on fourth-and-1. Joel Stave and the Vikings offense takes over on their own 39-yard line.

2:08 PM - Stave and the Vikings offense can't get a drive going and the Vikings are forced to punt. San Diego takes over on their own 25-yard line.

2:01 PM - Rookie cornerback Mackensie Alexander makes a pair of tackles to help force a San Diego punt. Troy Stoudermire returns the kick to the Vikings 16-yard line, where quarterback Joel Stave and the Vikings offense will take over.

1:57 PM -The Vikings force their second turnover of the day as Stephen Weatherly recovers a fumble that was forced by Justin Trattou. The Vikings take over on the San Diego 15-yard line.

Minnesota scores on a wild play for a touchdown. Shaun Hill connected with MyCole Pruitt, who fumbled inside the 5-yard line. The ball was recovered for a touchdown by Cordarrelle Patterson. Laquon Treadwell then snagged a 2-point conversion as the Vikings lead 20-10.

1:34 PM - Minnesota leads 12-10 over the Chargers at the end of the first half. Teddy Bridgewater threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to tight end Kyle Rudolph while kicker Blair Walsh converted a pair of field goals. Harrison Smith had an interception on defense for Minnesota.

1:32 PM -The Vikings force a punt late in the first half and will take over on their own 4-yard line.

1:19 PM -The first Vikings touchdown at U.S. Bank Stadium!

Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings offense engineer a beautiful 2-minute scoring drive that is capped by a 27-yard touchdown pass to tight end Kyle Rudolph. Bridgewater connected with Charles Johnson for 19 yards before finding Stefan Diggs for 22 yards to help set up Rudolph's score. Minnesota's 2-point try is no good and the Vikings lead 12-10.

1:12 PM -Minnesota's defense holds firm in the red zone and allows only a 32-yard field goal for the Chargers.

San Diego leads the Vikings 10-6 late in the second quarter.

1:03 PM - The Vikings turn the ball over on a fumble by tight end Kyle Rudolph in San Diego territory. The Chargers take over on their own 45-yard line.

12:54 PM - San Diego scores the first touchdown of the game on a 39-yard run by Melvin Gordon.

The Chargers tack on the PAT attempt and lead 7-6.

12:47 PM - The Vikings offense is forced to punt before Jeff Locke uncorks a 53-yard kick. San Diego will start at its own 28-yard line.

12:41 PM - The Vikings lead San Diego 6-0 at the end of the first quarter. Minnesota has outgained the Chargers 100-33 in yards so far.

Blair Walsh converted a pair of field goals while Harrison Smith added an interception in the first quarter.

12:35 PM -Minnesota's defense forces San Diego into third-and-long and forces a punt. The Vikings will take over on their own 7-yard line.

12:27 PM - The Vikings stall inside the red zone but Blair Walsh drills a 33-yard field goal to put Minnesota up 6-0.

Teddy Bridgewater had a 22-yard run on the drive that began after Harrison Smith's interception.

12:24 PM - The Vikings pick off Philip Rivers as Harrison Smith corrals a deflected pass by Trae Waynes. Minnesota starts at the San Diego 44-yard line.

12:15 PM - The Vikings are on the board on the first-ever offensive drive at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings score after a 23-yard field goal by Blair Walsh. Minnesota matched the ball into the red zone behind strong runs from Jerick McKinnon and a pair of catches by Stefon Diggs.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led the Vikings on the field as Minnesota started at the 27-yard line.

12:07 PM - San Diego wins the toss and elects to defer. The Vikings will receive the opening kickoff.

10:54 AM -The Vikings announced the following players are not expected to play: CB Xavier Rhodes, S Anthony Harris, LT Matt Kalil, TE Rhett Ellison and DT Scott Crichton.

Minnesota announced that Trae Waynes will start in place of Rhodes, and T.J. Clemmings will start in place of Kalil.

7:00 AM – The stage is set as U.S. Bank Stadium will make it's football debut today with the Vikings hosting the San Diego Chargers in both team's third preseason game. Kickoff is set for Noon CST and the game will air live nationally on FOX. Locally, fans can listen to the game on KFAN 100.3 FM.
