Joseph (6-6, 302) joins the Vikings practice squad after spending time in Baltimore on the active roster and most recently the practice squad. Since switching to the offensive side of the ball after his freshman year, the former Panther started 26 out of 41 games. Joseph was key in helping the offense produce 4,173 yards of total offense in 2015 (4th most in school history) and 4,503 yards of total offense in 2016 (3rd most in school history). In 2016, Joseph was an All-C-USA Honorable Mention selection.
Lyons (6-5, 284) joins the Vikings practice squad after spending time with the Pittsburgh Steelers during 2015 and 2016 seasons on both the practice squad and active roster. The first-year pro split time in the 2017 preseason with the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions, and a short stint on the Chicago Bear's practice squad in December. The Atlanta, Georgia native was All-SAC 1st Team and Beyond Sports Network NCAA Division II All-America Football third team in 2014.
