EAGAN, Minn. – The Vikings have agreed to terms with kicker Dan Bailey, the team announced Tuesday.
Bailey joined the Vikings on Sept. 18. 2018, after Daniel Carlson was released by Minnesota. He was perfect in his first game in Purple, hitting all three field goals and two extra points against the Rams in Week 3.
In 14 games last season, Bailey made 21 of 28 field goals attempted (75 percent), including all 11 attempts from 30-39 yards.
He also proved reliable after touchdowns, finishing the year 30-for-31 on extra points. Since the NFL moved the kick to a 33-yard distance in 2015, Bailey has made 127 of 130 PATs.

Prior to signing with Minnesota in 2018, Bailey spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career in Dallas where he played 108 games for the Cowboys. In that time, he made 154 of 166 field goals (92.7 percent) from 49 or fewer yards.
Bailey didn't miss a game throughout his first six seasons, but he was sidelined with a groin injury in 2017. He was released on Sept. 1, 2018, when the Cowboys opted to keep former Canadian Football League kicker Brett Maher after the preseason.
Bailey is the fifth-most accurate kicker in NFL history, converting 86.6 percent of his career field goals (207/239).
The native of Mustang, Oklahoma, played collegiately at Oklahoma State, where he made 57 of 72 career field goals for the Cowboys. Bailey received the Lou Groza Award for college football's top kicker after making 24 of 28 field goals and 65 of 66 extra points in 2010.
