Rookies Laquon Treadwell and Mackensie Alexander were guests of the Twins on Saturday prior to their game against the Yankees.
After six weeks on the gridiron kicking off their NFL career, Vikings rookies Mackensie Alexander and Laquon Treadwell hit the diamond to showcase their baseball talents.
Earlier this afternoon, the Vikings first two picks in 2016 headed to Target Field where they were pitted against Twins' mascot TC Bear in a home run challenge and then threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
After fine-tuning their swing in the Twins batting cages, the two competitors took the field. Although neither were able to top TC Bear, the both were able to put a ball into the stands. Treadwell took the head-to-head battle 2-1.
Like at the NFL Draft, Treadwell's daughter, Madison, joined him on the mound and they both threw out a pitch.

Alexander and Treadwell received tips from both current Twins players Byron Buxton and Ryan Pressly, in addition to Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda who was in town for a check presentation ceremony.
The two Vikings rookies capped their day by interacting with fans at the Twins Digital Clubhouse.
