*Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer *
We are excited to get back to U.S. Bank Stadium in front of our fans. Hopefully this will be the loudest game of the year. Hopefully they're excited to get us back in here. We haven't been back in months. We are excited to get back in here and get this place rocking again. Get that Skol chant going, and hopefully we play good football.
Q: What does Kyle Carter bring to the roster?
A: I think he's a good player.
Q: Do you view Kyle Carter as better in the pass catching game or blocking?
A: No, I think he's good at both. That's why we've kept him here.
Q: What did you see in Cincinnati's run defense last week against Chicago?
A: Chicago runs the ball good. Their running backs are really good. They got misaligned a couple times, got out of their gaps a couple times. Stuff happens.
Q: Is Blake Bell going to have surgery on his shoulder?
A: Eventually, yes.
Q: Did they say exactly what happened there?
A: I don't know what happened, he hurt his shoulder. I don't know exactly what happened. I didn't ask what play he got hurt on or anything like that.
Q: What is the injury itself?
A: His shoulder is way up here [pointing].
Q: Is it dislocated?
A: I don't think dislocated is the correct word. I don't know the terminology. I'm just trying to coach football.
Q: Do you think you'll have Riley Reiff on Sunday?
A: We have a chance, yes.
Q: I presume Riley Reiff will be questionable?
A: I don't know. You can presume whatever you want.
Q: Do you think Kyle Rudolph will be able to go?
A: No.
