*Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer *
Getting ready for a good road test. These guys are very good – offense, defense, special teams. Should be a heck of a ball game.
Q: With Desmond Trufant being ruled out, how much do you think that will affect their defense?
A: I don't know. I'm not going to comment on their defense. I'm not going to comment on their defense, other than they've had other guys play in there and they've played well.
Q: What do you think of Desmond Trufant on film?
A: He's a good player – first round pick, excellent in and out of breaks, competitive. Yes, good player.
Q: The Vikings are the only team in the NFL with a top five defense and offense. How important is having that balance on both sides of the ball?
A: Well it's been critical the entire year and really it's doesn't matter if we're top five or fifteen. We've played good together as a team and hopefully we'll continue to do that.
Q: What do you think about your offensive line going against their interior linemen?
A: They're all good players. [Dontari] Poe is a very big, athletic man. [Grady] Jarett is a good player. The ends come off the ball. Fast linebackers, so it's another big test. It's a good NFL test.
Q: Do you foresee Mike Remmers out again and replaced by Rashod Hill?
A: Yes.
Q: You picked up Rashod Hill off a practice squad. Could you tell when he got here that he had the makings of what he has become? What's been the key to his development?
A: He's always had the athletic traits that you need. He obviously had to learn the system and do those things, but he's a very big athletic man that has played well so far.
Q: Will Eric Kendricks go on Sunday?
A: I think so. Yes.
