April 29: Vikings Trade Up for LSU NT Jaquelin Roy in 5th Round
The Vikings traded up in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday to select LSU nose tackle Jaquelin Roy.
Minnesota dealt the 158th and 211th overall selections to Indianapolis.
Round 4 Trade
April 29: Vikings Trade Down in 4th Round with Chiefs, Gain 2024 Pick
The Vikings started their Saturday — the final day of the 2023 NFL Draft — by trading down from the 119th spot to 134th overall.
The deal was made with the Chiefs, who are hosting the draft in Kansas City.
Minnesota picked up a 2024 fifth-round pick in the deal.
Round 3 Trade
April 28 Trade with 49ers:
Vikings on Friday night traded down from No. 87 in the third round in a deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
Even though Minnesota did not have a second-round pick, General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah exercised patience in waiting to make the Vikings first selection of the night.
In exchange for dealing No. 87 to the 49ers, the Vikings received the following selections:
Round 3, 102 overall
Round 5, 164 overall
Round 7, 222 overall
