EAGAN, Minn. – The Vikings have executed a trade with the Texans to acquire an additional first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Minnesota is sending its 42^nd and 188^th overall selections this year, along with a second-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, to Houston in exchange for the 23^rd and 232^nd overall selections this year.

The trade now provides even more flexibility to Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah early in the three-day event. 

The Vikings are slated to have the following nine picks in the upcoming draft:

First round: 11^th overall

First round: 23^rd overall (from Houston)

Fourth round: 108^th overall

Fourth round: 129^th overall (from Detroit)

Fifth round: 157^th overall (from Cleveland)

Fifth round: 167^th overall (from Kansas City)

Sixth round: 177^th overall (from Carolina through Jacksonville; acquired Oct. 31, 2023)

Seventh round: 230^th overall (conditional from Atlanta through Cleveland and Arizona; acquired Oct. 31, 2023)

Seventh round: 232^nd overall (from Houston)
