MVC Jacqui, Blair, Kayla, and Mariah traveled to Playa Del Carmen, to be a part of Touchdown in the Tropics with one of our coaches, Theresa! We arrived at the Paradisus Resort in the early afternoon and had the whole day to explore, sit by the pool, and rest. That night we had a welcome dinner complete with a traditional Mexican buffet. The next day was filled with poolside dining, water aerobics, pool volleyball, sun bathing, and a little R&R. 

Thursday night was the big game! We had a large area set up for the group that included a gigantic Miller Lite can, a big screen to stream the game on, and the beautiful Mexican sand. The game was  competitive down to the last minute, with both teams going back and forth throughout the game, but unfortunately we lost. It was a great experience to view the game with such dedicated fans. 

Overall it was a great time and we feel so lucky and blessed to have had this opportunity to be able to go on this trip!
