SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Vikings have downgraded Taki Taimani to out for Monday night's Wild Card playoff game against the Rams.

Taimani (ankle) previously had been listed as questionable; the defensive lineman remains in his 21-day evaluation window as he attempts to return from Injured Reserve.

Additionally, Minnesota signed tackle Marcellus Johnson to its practice squad for his second stint with the team this season. He also spent time with the Giants practice squad on two separate occasions during the 2024 regular season.

Johnson initially signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft and played in all three of their preseason games. An Illinois native, he played in 54 games during his collegiate career at Eastern Michigan (2018-22) and Missouri (2023).
