EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the first wave of roster reductions before the 2024 season.

All NFL teams must reduce their rosters to 53 players by 3 p.m. (CT) Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Minnesota waived the following players:

TE Neal Johnson

Minnesota also terminated the contract of the following player:
